Creepy Valley: Desecration

  • Having spoken to two Planning Panel Members (Deputy Sean Power & Deputy Collin Egre) it seems most unlikely that Planning Panel would have given approval for the development (on this particular site which formed a buffer zone between Les Ormes, agricultural land, and SSI.)

Throughout the Application Process there appears to have been systematic collusion to understate the size and impact of this development upon the local environment and the residents of Water Lane and surrounding area.

Impact on the environment is enormous…desecration of the heart of the valley, trees, bushes, shrubs, grasses torn down and bulldozed. Wildlife habitat completely destroyed.

  • Nowhere in the Planning Report was Water Lane mentioned as a boundary and no one from any of the government agencies or Les Ormes Leisure Centre or Pure Adventures thought it was necessary to even consult with those residents and landowners who were going to be most affected by this development.

The impact on the environment has been devastating. The impact on the local residents has also been devastating.

Many people who were accustomed to strolling through this area and appreciating its unkempt natural beauty have been stunned by what has happened here.

If this development is allowed to go unchallenged here then where will be next?

Thanks go to all those who will stand up and voice their concerns regarding this blatant and deliberate travesty of Planning & Environment procedure.
